Common Auto Start Problems

There are a couple of common problems that could occur with the mLog Auto Start.

  1. An error may occur if mLog has been idle for a long time, or the phone has recently been rebooted. Simply reopening mLog will resolve these issues.

  2. mLog may suddenly be removed from your device's memory. If this happens, mLog will not respond when you plug your device into a power source. Simply reopening the mLog app will initiate the Auto Start process again.

Additional Auto Start Troubleshooting

If reopening the mLog app does not help, or you encounter other errors, try the following actions.

    1. Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of mLog. If you don't have the most recent version, update your mLog app here.

    2. Open mLog from the home, or Trips page, and go to Menu > Auto Start On > System Permissions > Location Permission.  Make sure Location Permission is set to "Always Allow."

    3. Open mLog from the Trips page and go to Menu > Auto Start 0n > System Permissions > Location Service. Set Location Service to "High Accuracy."

    4. Open mLog from the Trips page and go to Menu > Auto Start on > System Permissions > Battery saver. Set the Battery saver to "Off."

    5. Try rebooting your phone or mobile device.

    6. Add the mLog widget (2×2 size preferred) to the Android home screen to monitor your tracking status. Use the video to help you add the mLog widget.
